Born In Turku, Finland I went to the South of Germany in 1962 to study Medicine. After two and a half years I switched to Law. I graduated in Sweden in 1975. In 1976 I went to New York to begin as a trainee at a

famous law firm called Haight, Gardner, Poor and Havens. In 1977 I was

appointed assistant judge in Haparanda, Sweden. After a period of 1 1/2 year I got a position as an assistant lawyer in a law firm called Berg & Hjelt. Two years later I started a law firm of my own together with a colleague. In 2012 I retired from the Law and started a career as a freelance translator. I am still translating documents from English, German and Finnish into Swedish.
